Support a young golfer
Help an assessed player access coaching, equipment, practice or competitive participation.
BHARAT GOLFFOUNDATIONDISCOVERING TALENT. CREATING OPPORTUNITY.
Talent has no financial background.
Opportunity shouldn’t have one either.
THE REASON WE EXIST
For too many children, the first barrier to golf comes before the first swing.
Coaching, equipment, practice facilities and tournament costs can place the sport out of reach. Bharat Golf Foundation exists to help bridge that gap—connecting promising young players with the support to pursue their potential.
A registered trust and an initiative of Dr. Satish Chandra and Mr. Rakesh Sharma, BGF seeks to bring coaches, golf clubs, industry and communities together around one belief: talent deserves opportunity.
Be part of the journey ↗A PATHWAY, NOT A SHORTCUT
Our proposed four-year pathway combines sound fundamentals, consistent practice and progressively greater competitive exposure.
We aspire to help develop golfers who may one day represent India at the Olympic Games. This proposed pathway is a foundation; Olympic participation depends on performance, eligibility and qualification, and is not guaranteed.
Opportunity begins with someone opening a door.FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS
We intend to prioritise promising children facing financial barriers. Depending on assessment, funding and programme capacity, support may include:
Selection will consider potential, financial need, commitment and parent or guardian involvement. Programme dates and assessment details will be announced when confirmed.
Express your child’s interest ↗LEARNING TO COMPETE. LEARNING TO EXCEL.
Our planned tournaments will help young golfers put skills into practice, understand rules and etiquette, build resilience and learn from one another.
Age categories, eligibility, venues and dates will be shared with each confirmed event.
